·        It must be handwritten in complete sentences in your notebook.  Typed homework will not be accepted.

·        An absence is not an acceptable excuse for missing homework.  In case of prolonged illness or long absences, the student and/or his parents must contact the teacher for assignments to be covered.

To parents and students:

Homework is the responsibility of all students. However, I give the students 10 points per quarter for homework in order to motivate them to study.

I expect the students to take this homework seriously. The homework should not be taken for granted because each missing assignment will result in a reduction of one of ten homework points.

The total points earned each quarter will be reported at the end the quarter grading period, not at the mid-term.

In case of absence the student should:

1st.- Contact his two homework partners.

2nd.- See the teacher in the classroom (early in the morning or after school or during any free period or X period). No e-mails please.

3rd. See the teacher’s homepage. However, the homepage will only show the readings and grammar topics not the actual assignments. Thus this should be the last resource for homework.
