You will need a 3-ring binder to keep homework, handouts, quizzes, tests and notecards in

You will need 25-30 3x5 notecards for Chap 1and about 300 notecards for the year.

You will need pencils to do ALL turned in work.

You will need to sign up for your electronic text through www.classzone.com

You will need to log onto Carnegie Cognitive Tutor later in the week.

Your quarter grade is based on these items with their approx point value

Notecards	1 pt per card	About 20 cards per chapter	3 chapters per qtr	60 pts
Cognitive Tutor	1 pt per problem		50-75 problems per qtr	75 pts
Quizzes	About 20 pts per quiz		3 quizzes per qtr	60 pts
Tests	100 per test		3 per qtr	300 pts

As you can see, Tests are worth about 50 % of your grade.
