Hi,
My Name is Jim Jewell. My story is long, but I'll make it short. So, if you would like to know more just ask.
I was born at a very young age. In the state of infancy. :)
However, I no longer live in that state and now live in the state of confusion. :)
I grew up on a farm, played basketball and baseball in high school and soccer in college.
There were several in my family when I was growing up. I was the only boy and had seven sisters. Counting Mom and Dad there were ten of us altogether.
When I married my wife there were ten in her family counting her Mom and Dad.
Oh yes, she was the only girl and ,that's right, she had seven brothers.
My wife and I have three children and five grand children.
My hobbies are fishing, hunting, playing golf and playing cards (bridge, pitch, pinochle, etc.)
I graduated from Morehead State University with a bachelor degree in Education.
I later graduated from United Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity degree.
I taught math for thirteen years, was a Pastor in The United Methodist Church for six years and have been teaching for Hamilton County Educational Service Center at Moeller High School as the Math Instructional/Intervention Specialist since 1987.
I have coached Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Football, and Tennis. But now, I enjoy watching.
Having accepted Jesus into my life as my personal Lord and Savior was the most important decision I have ever made in my life and ever will.
So, allow me to leave you with this thought. "If you are born once, you will die twice. But, if you are born twice, you will only die once." Think about it.
