DATES:               June 9, to June 27, 2008  

  The Moeller PREP program is a three-week academic course designed to help ease the way of our incoming freshmen into the high school life of Moeller.  Originally offered as an early boost for students with academic weaknesses, the program has long since been adapted to accommodate students of all academic abilities.  In 2005, nearly 60% of the incoming freshmen  enrolled in PREP.

   Students enrolled in College Prep II classes are strongly encouraged to enter the program.

  The standard courses offered in PREP continue to be English, math, and study/organizational skills.  English and math are tracked by ability level to meet student needs.  

  The course runs from June 9,  to June 27.  All classes meet in the morning.  Start times are 8:00 and 8:40 (depending on class).  End times run from 10:08 to 11:28, depending on classes.

Here are the options:         

1.  Standard (English, math, study skills):   $ 140

2.  One class:     $ 85

3.  Two classes:   $ 115

  Honors and CPI students may choose any of  the above.   

  Students registered in CPII English or CPII math must take the corresponding PREP course (English, math) plus study skills.   Because of the primary intent of the program, priority in scheduling will be awarded to CPII  students.

  TRANSPORTATION:                Transportation will NOT be provided.  A complete list of participants’ names, addresses and phone numbers will be available to help you form car pools. (If you do not wish your phone number published, please let us know.)   Complete information, including  schedule, will be mailed to registrants in late May.

  Registration deadline is May  8, 2008. We can guarantee enrollment in the standard program to all families who make the deadline.
