This cultural studies course is a semester long, 1/2 credit elective offered through the Social Studies Department. It is intended for upperclassmen at the college preparatory (CP1) level.
Students will study numerous themes of historical and contemporary Chinese culture such as religion, politics, economics, art and literature. The course grade will be based on 6 tests, 6 quizzes, 6 essays, a research project and a comprehensive final examination.
