Course Description
Geometry CP1 Level 1
(1 year, 1 credit)
Geometry CP1 Level 1 covers all topics of plane geometry and introduces proofs as a method of justifying "why" we know certain facts about a topic. Proofs, however, are not the main emphasis. The properties and relationships of various two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes will be our focus. Geometer’s Sketchpad will be utilized in this course.
Prerequisite: Algebra 1 CP1 Level 1
Grades
Grades are based on total points in the class. Grades will be given for tests, quizzes, homework, in class activities, and small projects. Open the syllabus below for more details about assignments and grades.
