
The question for most is, "What does band have to offer ME?" There are a lot of places to start. Band offers a lot of opportunities for fun and enjoyment. Research tells us that studying music improves certain aspects of your academic growth. Musicians also have the ability to develop the talents given by God to their true potential. Band members learn the value of setting goals and working hard to achieve them.
But the best part is that band is not about YOU. It’s about US. Band
is a team, one that works together for a greater purpose. What we
can accomplish together is much more than what we can accomplish There is no second-string in band. We work as a group, and we all
receive the reward equally. We share all failures and pain, too.
When tragedy struck our country on September 11, 2001, we stayed
together and prayed together as a band. We’re really a family—one that knows, protects, encourages, and cares for its members.

Incoming students, you still won’t really understand it until that senior pats you on the back after practice and tell you how well you’re doing. Parents, you'll understand when the newest and shiniest piece of equipment we own, the envy of all other schools, is something you helped us to acquire through your involvement in a great Boosters organization.
