When Moeller’s Theater Department puts on a musical, members of the band are called on to perform in the Pit Orchestra. This provides great opportunities, including the chance to play difficult literature, learn a “double,” or another instrument, and sometimes the chance to play next to a local professional (sometimes hired to assist with the performance).                                                                                            Pit orchestra is an all-volunteer group that meets in the afternoons or evenings in late spring
