Goals
The Mathematics Department of Archbishop Moeller High School realizes as its goal the necessity to expose the students to as many career opportunities as possible and to provide programs that fit the various levels of ability of the students. The Honors and College Preparatory I Programs are designed to assist the student in preparation for specialization in the fields of science and engineering and to equip the student with the analytical tools that are necessary to embark upon a career in a mathematics-related field. The College Preparatory II Program strives to provide the students with the basic knowledge transferable to the practical, job related fields and, at the same time, fulfill the three-year mathematics requirement necessary to enter most colleges.
