Advanced Placement Test in English Literature and Composition
This test is administered in the spring of the senior year. A score of "3" normally earns college credit or college advanced standing. Class of 1996: 20 seniors scored "3" or higher. Class of 1997: 23 seniors scored "3" or higher. Class of 1998: 18 seniors scored "3" or higher. Class of 1999: 25 seniors scored "3" or higher.
Class of 2000: 17 seniors scored "3" or higher.
Class of 2001: 20 seniors scored "3" or higher.
Class of 2002: 16 seniors scored "3" or higher.
Class of 2003: 13 seniors scored "3" or better.
Class of 2004: 19 seniors scored "3" or better.

Ohio Test of Scholastic Achievement This test was administered to teams of students in a variety of subjects. About 350 schools and 13,000 students throughout Ohio participate each year. The competition was discontinued in 2002.
In 2001, the Moeller 9th grade English team won the OHIO STATE CHAMPIONSHIP among all Division I schools. Daniel Schwallie achieved the #1 score in Ohio among ALL divisions; David King posted the #2 score in Division I; Zachary Smith had the 5th highest score in Ohio Division I; Chris Babcock posted the 14th highest score, while Agustya Mehta earned the 17th best score.

In 1996 the Moeller 9th grade English team finished #1 in Ohio in the big school division. State champs! Mike Bien earned the top score in Ohio.
In 1992 the Moeller 9th grade English team finished second in Ohio. Moeller was unable to participate in the test in 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1997.
In 1998 the Moeller 9th grade English team finished third in Ohio. Mark Magner's score was #9 in Ohio; DeMark Schulze and Eric Wellinghoff tied for 12th place in Ohio. All scores were achieved in the big school division.
In 1999 the Moeller 9th grade English team finished in the upper 25% in the big school division. Abhijit Mehta was #11 in Ohio; David Tull was #19 in Ohio, in the big school division.
In 2000, the Moeller 9th grade English team finished in the upper 20% in the big school division. Anthony Magner was #15 in Ohio while Nathaniel Smith and Anthony Rudd were named Honorable Mention in the district, all in the big school division.
