We encourage students to visit colleges on days off.
Seniors, Juniors and Sophomores will be off school in Fall 2007 on:

Friday, October 12 (Faculty In-Service)
Wednesday, October 17 (Sophomores and Juniors take PSAT in the morning)
Monday, November 5 (The day after Open House)
Friday,  November 9 (Day after Parent-Teacher Conference)

Additionally, seniors are given two (2) Official College Visit Days.  The parents or guardians must report the student's absence on the Absence Line:  791-1680 (Button #3), before 8:30 A.M.  Upon the student's return, he must present a signed note from the university or college  he visited to the Main Office before the first block begins. When the correct procedures are followed, the college visit is an excused absence and it is the student's responsibility to secure from his teachers missed assignments, notes, etc. and make arrangements for any missed tests or quizzes.
