Blane Collison became Moeller’s seventh principal in 2003 after Dan Ledford ‘66 retired. Blane is a native of Worthington, Ohio. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton in 1984 and his master’s degree in educational administration at Xavier University in 1992.
Blane began his teaching career in the Northwest Local School District in 1984. He taught on both the junior-high and high-school level for 10 years. During this time, he also coached a variety of sports on the varsity level. He later served as an assistant principal in the district.
Blane began his tenure in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in 1995 when he was appointed principal of St. Vincent Ferrer School. He successfully led St. Vincent Ferrer in several new plans aimed at enhancing the school’s technology program, as well as the renovation of existing buildings and new facilities for the educational programs.
In 2011 Blane was honored with the Founder's Day Award for his leadership in implementing the Marianist Characteristics of Education. He and his wife Kelly reside in Sycamore Township with their son Quinn (Moeller Class of 2013) and are members of St. Vincent Ferrer Parish.

Chris Wilke has been at Moeller since the fall of 2008. He has teaching and administrative experience from Purcell Marian High School, Xavier University XCEED Program, McNicholas High School, and Cardinal Pacelli School. These experiences include positions such as teacher, department chair, coach, coordinator of administrative services, summer school principal, Scholars Program coordinator, and Office of Student Success director.
As Dean of Academics, Chris works closely with teachers, students, parents, the Interdisciplinary Council, and the Academic Committee to the Long Range Strategic Plan to develop a challenging, relevant, and interconnected curriculum that challenges our students and prepares them for tomorrow's world. He also works to see increased participation in academic related co-curricular activities, such a Academic Team, Science Bowl, Engineering Club, and other such organizations. He is also coach of the Mock Trial team.
Chris and his wife, Kathleen, live in the Ridgewood neighborhood of Columbia Township near Pleasant Ridge. They have two children, Olivia and Peter, who both attend Nativity Grade School in Pleasant Ridge. Nativity Church is also their home parish. Based on his experiences at the University of Dayton, Purcell Marian High School, and Moeller High School, Chris considers the Marianist Charism one of the biggest influences to his personal, professional, and spiritual lives.
Chris has a master's in educational administration and principal's license from Xavier University and a bachelor's degree in history and education from the University of Dayton. He has twice attended the Lausanne Laptop Institute in Memphis, TN.

The Dean of Students: Carl Kremer
Carl Kremer became the dean of academics in 1991. He graduated in 1978 from Miami East High School in Troy, Ohio, and received his bachelor’s degree in history in 1982 and his master’s degree in counseling in 1984 from Eastern Kentucky University. His administrative coursework was done at the University of Cincinnati.
Carl has been a member of the Moeller staff since 1984. During his first eight years he taught a variety of subjects, including history, government, English, and psychology.
Carl has been coaching basketball for the Crusaders since 1984. In January 1990 he became head coach, and in those 21 years, Coach Kremer has compiled a 382-131 record. His teams have won (or shared) GCL championships 14 out of the last 19 years. He has led the Crusaders to three city championships in 1994, 2004 and 2008; eight district titles in ’94, ’99, ’03,’04, ’05, ’07, ’10 & ‘11; five regional championships in ’99, ’03,’05,’07 and ‘10; one state final four in ’05; one state runner-up in ’10; and three state titles in ’99, ’03, and ’07.
Carl and his wife Johanna (Moeller’s communications director) reside in Loveland with their son Joseph (Moeller Class of 2012) and daughter Jackie (Mount Notre Dame Class of 2012). They are members of Saint Margaret of York Parish.

The House Director: Karen Matuszek
Karen Matuszek will assume the role of House Director this year. She has been a member of Moeller's faculty since 2004 serving as the special education services coordinator and was one of the first House Deans (Eveslage House). With her leadership, Eveslage House was awarded the Marianist Cup in 2006, 2008, 2010, and 2011. For the past two years she has also served as the Moeller Basketball Team's academic advisor.
Karen is a native Cincinnatian and a 1972 graduate of Regina High School. She received her bachelor's degree in elementary education and special education in 1976 from Bowling Green State University and her master's degree in educational administration in 2000 from Xavier University.
She and her husband Len (Moeller Class of 1972 and member of Moeller's Athletic Hall of Fame) have three adult children (Michelle, Kevin, and Kyle) and two grandchildren (Carson and Logan).
