District Results....Week Nine Update

The OHSAA Division One Southwest Ohio District Cross Country Championships were held on October 23rd, 2021 at VOA Park in Westchester, Ohio where the Crusader team finished 8^th of 17 teams in Race “A” with 182 points. Unfortunately the team was unable to advance in the postseason and the season has concluded for the Varsity squad. 

 

Moeller’s top finisher was Senior Jameson Maynes who finished 13^th place in 16:17 (out of 115 runners).  Also scoring were Freshman Peter Bachman (35^th – 17:17), Sophomore Jake Karulf (40^th – 17:24), Junior Sebastian Rahe (42^nd – 17:250, and Senior Grant Prather (52^nd – 17:40).  Also finishing Varsity were Senior Eli Smiddy and Sophomore Jacob Herzog.  

 

With his 13^th place finish, Jameson Maynes will advance to the Region 4 Championship and will be Moeller’s sole representative at Regionals this year.  Congratulations to Jameson!!

The District JV/Open race was also contested on October 23^th, 2021 at Loveland High School in Loveland, Ohio where that squad finished 5^th of 9 teams with 147 points.  Top finisher for Moeller was Senior Zach Colbert in 29^th place with a time of 17:39 (out of 169 runners).

While the season has concluded for the Varsity and JV squads, Jameson’s season will continue with the OHSAA Region 4 Championship on Saturday, October 30^th, 2021 in Troy, Ohio.  Race time will be 4pm. Best of luck to Jameson next weekend!
