Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati approved the appointment of J. Marshall Hyzdu, a 1996 graduate of Moeller, as the new President of Archbishop Moeller High School.  Hyzdu assumes his new position January 4, 2016.

Hyzdu brings significant leadership, management and marketing experience to Moeller. His professional background includes over 12 years of brand management experience where he established a track record of success in building well-known brands, while also delivering strong business results.

Hyzdu comes to Moeller from Bridgestone, where he served as Vice President of Commercial Marketing.  In this role, he led the $4.5 billion portfolio and created strategic plans for product development and digital marketing.  Prior to Bridgestone, Hyzdu served as Global Marketing Director at Valvoline and Senior Brand Manager at Kraft Foods on well-known brands, like Kraft Singles, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, and Breakstone’s cultured products.

“It is an honor and privilege to be named President at Moeller High School.  I look forward to serving our students, faculty, staff, coaches, parents, alumni, and our community,” states Hyzdu.  “As a Moeller graduate, the school laid the foundation for me as a husband, father, brother, son and Christian man.  I pray that I can play a role in laying a similar foundation for future Men of Moeller.”

Hyzdu started his career in investment banking at UBS.  He earned a B.A. in history and psychology from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan Ross Business School.
