College Credit Opportunities

Archbishop Moeller High School is one of the few Catholic High Schools in Cincinnati that participate in Ohio’s College Credit Plus (CCP) Program.  CCP allow students earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from local and regional colleges/universities. The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students. Taking a college course from a public college or university is free, although nonpublic school students must apply for and may be awarded funding through the Ohio Department of Education.

Through CCP, Moeller students earn college credit during the regular school day without leaving our campus.   In addition to courses offered at Moeller, students may take CCP courses from any college that offers a course that would benefit their future.  Moeller’s CCP program will include traditional classroom instruction as well as online instruction.  Students will receive a transcript from the college/university, which sponsors the course.  Moeller’s CCP courses are given “quality points” for weighted average GPA calculation.
