  • Colleges Visiting Moeller

    Archbishop Moeller has an afternoon set aside to host college representatives in a mini fair format.  Each college will be represented by an admissions officer and will offer students information regarding each school's admissions process as well as details and facts about the schools.  The mini fair will begin at 1:00 PM and end at 2:30 PM in the Moeller Gym.  All students (grades 9-12) are encouraged to attend.  Upper classmen can attend after their B3 class and underclassmen can attend after M block.  Please email Mr. Brian Gilronan at BGilronan@Moeller.org if you have any questions.

    Individual College Representative Visits

    Since college representatives have varying travel schedules, we have scheduled individual session times for them to meet with students. Seniors and Juniors who would like to meet with these college representatives must email Mr. Brian Gilronan at BGilronan@Moeller.org no later than the 8 AM the day of the session for a pass, Pass will be sent to student during First Bell the day of information session.

  • Naviance

    Naviance Family Connection is a web-based resource for staff, students, and parents that encourages and supports post high school career and college planning. Students will be using Naviance Family Connection several times throughout the school year with their counselor; however, please feel free to navigate the site at home. Each student has a personal page. All students will use Naviance over their four years at Moeller ending with the college application process.
    Naviance Family Connection allows your student to:
    • Get involved in the planning and advising process – Build a resume, complete online surveys, and manage timelines and deadlines for making decisions about colleges and careers
    • Research colleges – Compare GPA, standardized test scores, and other statistics to actual historical data from our school for students who have applied and been admitted in the past
    • Research careers Research hundreds of careers and career clusters, and take career assessments
    • Connect to many outside resources -  including college websites, scholarships, standardized test sites, NCAA clearinghouse, etc.
    • Create plans for the future – Create goals and objectives as well as completing tasks assigned by the school to better prepare your student for future college and career goals.
    • Log service hours through x2vol
    In addition,  Naviance Family Connection allows us to share information with you and your student about upcoming meetings and events, local scholarship opportunities, and other resources for college and career information. Also, all transcripts and letters of recommendation are submitted for college applications using Naviance.
    To Access Moeller's Naviance Family Connection site, please do the following:
    • Login to MoeCampus
    • Select RESOURCES
    • click on NAVIANCE 
    When you visit the site for the first time, enter your personal registration code (!fc_regcode) in the New User box and follow the on-screen instructions to create your own account. If you have already logged into Naviance but have forgotten your password, choose the "forgot your password" link below login.  
    Note: Your son will login through Moe Campus and has a different login than you. Once you have your own account, you will sign in using the username and password you chose during the registration process.

    College Admissions

    Out-of-State Colleges with Special Tuition: 
    1. Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, MI
    In-state tuition rate for all Ohio residents is $7,490 for the year for 2007-2008
    2. Morehead State University, Morehead, KY
    Tuition discount rate for Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren counties is $4,040 with a minimum score of 18 on each section of the ACT.
    3. Eastern Kentucky University
    4. Western Kentucky University
    5. Thomas More College - Parochial Promise. All graduates of Catholic high schools who are admitted without condition (regular admit) are guaranteed gift money of at least $10,000 per year and guaranteed that tuition will not increase more than 3% a year.
