  • Academic Support

At Moeller, it’s all about each student’s success. The counselors work with each student to develop a four-year academic plan which evolves throughout his tenure at Moeller. Counselors have many resources within the building to ensure academic success– study skill support, academic intervention, class registration and academic and career advising.
  • College Counseling

College and career planning begins freshmen year and continues throughout the four years at Moeller. Students learn about career opportunities and, through assessments and discussions, the post-secondary options that will be a good fit for them. Counselors provide individual, small group, and classroom counseling sessions for college research and the application process. Moeller’s school counselors are able to provide individual college counseling services to all students to help them reach their unique college and career goals.
  • College Acceptances

  • Personal and Social Support

Counselors provide support for students who need help adjusting to high school, students who seek mental and emotional support, students who are looking to manage stress, those who struggle with anxiety and depression and who have sudden life changes. Moeller and Bring Change to Mind (BC2M), a student-led club, have become partners dedicated to mental health conversations. BC2M’s high school program gives teens a platform to share their voices and raise awareness around mental health. Our goal is to empower students to educate one another, their communities, and to create a culture of peer support within our school.
We also have a facility dog, Sidon, who resides in counseling to help where sometimes two-legged-kind can't.
  • Drug Testing

Aligned with our Mission – Catholic. Marianist. Forming our Students into Remarkable Men – Archbishop Moeller High School believes in holistic education. To help accomplish this, Moeller has established a wellness initiative that will center on keeping students healthy and free of drugs through education, screening, and support. The goals of this initiative are: To educate students about substance abuse and discourage the use of drugs and alcohol, to provide early intervention for students who begin using in high school, to foster an environment that makes it easier for students to say "no” to drugs and alcohol.
