Chaminade Global Scholars Program
Archbishop Moeller High School Chaminade Global Scholars program adds a rigorous academic layer to Moeller’s successful International Global Education programs through service, immersion, and awareness experiences  Students can participate in the following programs: El Salvador, Bernau bei Berlin Exchange, The German Friendship Connection, Zaragoza, Uganda and Australia. 
 
The Chaminade Global Scholars program is an opportunity for high academic students the opportunity to demonstrate tangible Global experience with academic credit which may be required by some colleges and universities.  Global Scholars will help separate Moeller students from other students competing for the same spots in the college or university of their choice.  The program further develops the Mind, Body and Spirt within a Global Community. 
 
The program is designed to engage students in practical experiences and investigate a wide range of themes and questions in three core areas:
  1. Develop awareness of and proposing solutions for global issues
  2. Cross-cultural skill building and an understanding others
  3. Exposure to global business challenges and investigating best practices for success in a global world

Curriculum
  • Cross-Curriculum requirements including 4 years of a World Language or 3 years of World Language with a Summer Global Immersion Program
  • Speaker Series
  • Leadership Roles within our Non-Profit Management classes, Mock Trial, Model UN and House System
  • Final Capstone Project
