Information Sessions

The Admissions Office will host a variety of information sessions for parents of 8th grade students in the Class of 2023 seeking admission to Archbishop Moeller High School.

  • General Information Session

    Tuesday, September 11 Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
    Tuesday, October 9 Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

    Location: Room 233 – Enter through the Main Lobby
    During the general information sessions you will hear from a Moeller Faculty member about how we educate the whole student: Mind, Body, and Spirit all within the Community of Brothers.  You will also hear from current Moeller students and parents on why a Catholic, Marianist education may be right for your son.    Finally, you will learn about how our House System supports the education of the whole student.  Students are welcome to attend.

    Same information will be presented at both session.  No need to RSVP
  • Special Education Information Session

    Tuesday, October 16  Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

    Location:Room 233– Enter through the Main Lobby
    During this information session, parents will learn about our outstanding Special Education Support Services program.  Our Director of Special Education, Karen Matuszek will provide an overview of the services we provide students who currently have an IEP, SP, 504 Plan or Accommodation Plan.  Dan Aielli ’09 teaches freshmen will share his Moeller experience as both a teacher and a student.  You will also hear from current students and parents about the benefits of attending Moeller both academically and socially.  Students are welcome to attend.

    Please bring copies of your son’s current ETR and IEP, SP, 504 Plan or Accommodation plan.

  • Chaminade Global Scholars Program Information Session

    Wednesday, December 12 Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

    Location: Room 233 – Enter through the Main Lobby
    The Chaminade Global Scholars program provides high academic students the opportunity to demonstrate tangible Global experience with academic credit, which may be required by some colleges and universities.  Global Scholars will help separate Moeller students from other students competing for the same spots at the college or university of their choice.  The program further develops the Mind, Body and Spirt within a Global Community.  Moeller Dean of Academics Dr. Christine Brookbank and teachers Linda Zins-Adams and Dave Campbell will share the program details.

  • Financial Aid Information Session

    Tuesday, September 18 Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
    Tuesday, November 6 
    Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

    Location: Room 233 - Enter through the Main Lobby

    Parents only please
    During this information session, we will review the process to apply for Financial Aid via FACTS.  Parents will also receive information on the various types of Financial Aid Moeller provides and the requirements needed for each.  Finally, we will share information on our Work Study Program and the benefits to assist in offsetting the cost of a Moeller Education.

  • Public School Information Session

    Wednesday, October 24 Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

    Location: Room 233 – Enter through the Main Lobby
    This Information Session is targeted toward parents of 8th grade boys who are currently in public schools.  On this night, current Moeller students and parents from public schools will discuss the transition to a Catholic, Marianist high school; the benefits of an all-boys school; the academic rigor, levels and schedule offered at Moeller; and our House System.  Students are welcome to attend.
