  • Matthew 25: Ministries

    Our friends at Matthew 25: Ministries are always looking for assistance with various programs over the summer. They specialize in helping those affected by disasters in the United States and around the world. They are located at 11060 Kenwood Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45242. Call 513-793-6256 for more information.
  • Brookdale Place Assisted Living

    Brookdale is located across from Moeller (9090 Montgomery Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45242). Our neighbors are always looking for volunteers to help with various projects and events. Contact the main desk at 513-745-9292 for more information.
  • Free Store Food Bank

    This organization is most always looking for volunteers. Contact the volunteer coordinator at 513-482-7543 for information or check their website at vol-svcs@freestorefoodbank.org.
  • HEARTT Animal Refuge

    HEARTT is a no-kill animal shelter in need of volunteers, especially for the summer. They are located at 11354 Reading Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45241. Contact Olivia at Olivia@thefmgroup.com or 513-549-6550 for more information.
  • Jewish Community Center

    This organization is looking for advocates for senior adult assistance (musician, art, photographer skills needed) and office administrative work (computer graphics skills needed). Contact Betsy Singer-Lefton at 513-722-7220 for more information.
  • Muscular Dystrophy Association

    This involves one week working with one person. Contact Elana at 513-231-2222 for more information.
  • OTR Soup Kitchens (Two Locations: Vine St. or Gilbert Ave.)

    Volunteers can help feed the hungry by preparing and serving food and setting the table. The Vine Street location is open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 AM-2 PM. The Gilbert Ave. location is open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 AM-2 PM or 1:30-3:30 PM in the pantry on Tuesday and Thursday. Contact Ms. Melody Byrom at 513-961-1983, ext. 2.
  • Our Daily Bread

    Volunteers can help feed the hungry by preparing/serving food and setting the table. They are open Monday-Friday from 9 AM-12 PM, and the Kids' Cafe is open from 3-5:30 PM Tuesday-Thursday. Call Kathy at 513-621-6364, ext 15.
  • St. Francis Soup Kitchen in Over-the-Rhine

  • STARFIRE

    This is an organization that works with special needs teens and adults. They are always in need of high school volunteers to assist with social outings on evenings and weekends. Call Rachael Mechlenborg at 281-2100 or check their website at www.Starfirecouncil.org.

  • Boys and Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati

    This organization is always looking for volunteers to help mentor kids over the summer for all clubs. Contact Beth Ann Rogers at 421-8909, ext 10. In particular, the LeBlond Club in Over-the-Rhine is in need of some friends to swim with them. You don’t need to be an advanced swimmer to help out. Contact Justin Rogers:jrogers@bgcgc.org.
  • Down Syndrome Association of Cincinnati

    The DSAC is looking for volunteers for various projects in the summer.  Please Kerin Caudill at 513-761-5400 to volunteer. 
  • Downtown Main Library

    The library needs literacy and homework support for their Summer Brain Camp. Contact Trish Eversole at 513-369-3121. The Cincinnati Public Library is also looking for volunteers to assist with their Summer Reading and Nutritional programs.  Volunteers are needed from June-August, so there are many opportunities to volunteer.   • Emanuel Community Center (OTR)

    The center needs volunteers for helping with toddlers and pre-schoolers during the summer. Contact Ms. Louise Williamston at 513-241-2563, ext.18, or by email at volunteer@emanuelcenter.org.
  • Evergreen Holistic Learning Center

    Located close to Winton Woods, the Evergreen Holistic Learning Center is an 8 acre urban farm which seeks to educate young and old about stewardship for God’s creation and how we all have a part to play in conservation.   • Gorman Heritage Farm

    Located a few minutes from Moeller on Reading Road, Gorman Heritage Farm is a working urban farm which strives to educate anyone who is interested about how a farm works and the value of sustainability.  The farm is in need of volunteers for a number of different roles during the summer.   • Granny’s Garden

    Located in Loveland, Granny’s Garden is always looking for volunteers to help with a number of activities. Contact Granny at schoolgarden@fuse.net for more information.
  • Hamilton County Special Olympics

    This organization holds a Unified Bowling League and is in need of partners during the summer at Crossgate Lanes (Hunt and Plainfield Roads) every Monday from 4:30-6 PM. Contact Janet Smith at 513-271-2606.
  • Kennedy Heights Art Center

    The KHAC is looking for volunteers to assist with their different summer camps which take place from June until August. This opportunity is geared toward individuals with an interest in art.   • Madisonville Education and Assistance Center

    Located roughly 10 minutes from Moeller, the Madisonville Education and Assistance Center strives to serve the local community with a variety of programs and is looking for volunteers to assist with their Summer Reading Program.   • Mapleview Farms and Garden Market

    The owner of Mapleview Farms is a Moeller grad and they are always looking for assistance for various projects which they are working on. Contact James Moorman at JMoorman@lappusa.com.
  • Ohio Allycat Resource

    This organization is looking for volunteers in June for their garage sale fundraiser. Contact Beth atbjohnston@fuse.net for more information.
  • Seasons Retirement Home

    Seasons is down the road from Moeller at 7300 Dearwester Dr. Cincinnati, OH 45236. They are always looking for student volunteers to help with various programs. (There are also some paid employment opportunities.) Contact the main desk at 513-745-9925 for more information.
  • St. Joseph Orphanage

    The orphanage needs lifeguard for two hours a week during the summer. Contact Penny Jarred at 513-741-3100, ext. 2225.
  • St. Vincent DePaul

    Located in the West End Neighborhood of Cincinnati, SVDP is sometimes looking for assistance with various projects that happen in the summer.  Please call 513-562-8841 and ask for the volunteer coordinator to set up service opportunities.
  • Stepping Stone Center

    The center is looking for volunteers to work in many capacities during their summer camp. Volunteers must be willing to commit to 30 hours of service. Camp dates and times are mid-June through mid-August, Monday through Friday, 9 AM-3 PM. Call Sarah Weber at 513-831-4660, ext. 27, for more information.   • Winton Woods Riding Center

    This organization is looking for summer volunteers; no experience is necessary, and all training is provided. You can help young people with disabilities enjoy horseback riding.
