Ross Invite Results....Week Seven Update

The regular season concluded for the Moeller Cross Country Team on Saturday, October 4^th, 2025, with the Ross Invitational at Ross High School in Hamilton, Ohio with the team capturing first place out of 11 teams with 33 points.

Running Varsity and finishing first place was Senior Brock Grubert in a time of 16:03 (out of 80 runners). Also scoring were Senior Preston Wesley (4^th – 16:19), Senior Owen Speed (6^th – 16:39), Sophomore Hayden Sorg (10^th – 17:03) and Sophomore Paul Eckstein (12^th – 17:09). Rounding out the Varsity squad were Duncan Shirley, Luke Long, Zach Lazor, Jake Jankowski, and Murphy Maynes.

In the JV Race, that squad finished 2^nd of 7 teams with 58 points. Leading the way was Senior Max Herzog in 1^st place (out of 123 runners) with a time of 18:34. Also scoring were Andrew Angeles, Zach Guthrie, Andrew Bedel, and Lucas Thompson.

The post-season now begins with the GCL South Championship at Moeller’s home course…Christ’s Church Mason, in Mason, Ohio on Saturday, October 11^th, 2025. The Varsity, JV, and Freshmen squads will run a combined race at 9:00am, followed by the Open race at 10:00am. Awards to follow at 11:00am. The team would greatly appreciate having a blue/gold cheering section there on Saturday morning as we go up against our league rivals on all three levels. Thanks in advance for all your continued support of Moeller Cross Country, and good luck to all the other fall sports the remainder of their seasons.
