Lebanon Invitational Results....Week Two Update

The Crusader Cross Country Team was back in action this weekend with the Lebanon Warrior Invitational on Saturday, September 1^st, 2018 at Lebanon High School, where the Varsity squad finished 11^th of 22 teams with 314 points.

Under soft course conditions, Moeller’s top finisher this week was Cannon Spelman ’21 in 44^th place (out of 191 runners) in a time of 18:14. Also scoring for Varsity was Jameson Maynes ’22 (49^th – 18:20), Logan Mitchell ’22 (69^th – 18:42), Dan Kunkel ’20 (85^th – 18:50), and Joeh Coots ’21 (89^th – 18:56). Rounding out the Varsity squad were Nick Eiben ’19, Joe Balint ’19, Brayden Zenni ’21, Grant Prather ’22, and Jon Stentz ’20.

In the JV/Open race, that squad finished 5^th of 13 teams with 152 points. Moeller’s top finished in that race was Nathan Barger ’22 in 19^th place (out of 306 runners) with a time of 19:18. Also scoring for that squad were Derek Konkoly ’21, Ian Hale ’20, Zach Skufca ’20, and Damien Crayton ’21.

Up next is the Mason Invitational on Saturday, September 8^th, 2018 at Mason’s Corwin-Nixon Park. Varsity race is scheduled to begin at 10:30am. We thank everyone their support of our team thus far and wish all the other Moeller teams good luck this fall.
