Troy and Xavier Invitational Results….Week Four Update

In an electrifying atmosphere under the lights with over 3000 runners participating, the Crusader Cross Country Blue Squad finished 6^th out of 38 teams with 289 points in the Troy Twilight Invitational at Troy Memorial Stadium in Troy, Ohio on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

In addition, earlier that same morning, the Crusader Gold Squad finished 5^th of 10 teams with 111 points at the St. Xavier Invitational at St. Xavier High School.

For the Blue Squad, Senior Brock Grubert was Moeller’s top finisher in 9^th place (out of 387 runners) in a time of 15:56. Also scoring: Senior Preston Wesley (27^th – 16:23), Senior Owen Speed (34^th – 16:32), Sophomore Hayden Sorg (104^th – 17:20), and Senior Duncan Shirley (134^th – 17:40). Rounding out Varsity were Paul Eckstein, Luke Long, Sam Sharpshair and Jake Jankowski.

For the Gold Squad, Sophomore Murphy Maynes cross the line first for Moeller in 17^th place (out of 82 runners) in a time of 18:45.
