Hot Summer Bash/Lebanon Warrior Invitational Results....Week Two Update

The Crusader Cross Country team was back in action on Saturday, August 30^th, 2025 with the Varsity squad competing in the Hot Summer Bash at Hilliard Davidson High School in Hilliard, Ohio.   In a loaded field featuring ten top twenty-five D1 State Ranked teams, Moeller finished 5^th of 17 teams with 160 points. 

 

The top finisher was Preston Wesley ’26 in 8^th place with a time of 15:58 (out of 139 runners).   Also scoring Brock Grubert ’26 (12^th – 16:13), Owen Speed ’26 (22^nd – 16:22), Hayden Sorg ’28 (60^th – 17:08) and Zach Lazor ’26 (68^th – 17:16).  Rounding out Varsity Duncan Shirley, Luke Long, Sam Sharpshair and Murphy Maynes.

The JV squad competed in the Lebanon Warrior Invitational at Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Ohio where that squad finished 2^nd of 24 teams with 89 points.   Top finisher was Jake Jankowski ’28 in 6^th place with a time of 18:35 (out of 317 runners).   Also scoring for that squad was Zach Guthrie, Max Herzog, Logan Todd and Henry Tincher.
