Jim Murray Invite Results....Week Six Update

On September 27^th, 2025, the Moeller Cross Country Team competed in the Jim Murray Invitational at Champions XC Park in Springfield, Ohio where the team finished 3rd of 25 teams with 74 points.

Top finisher for Moeller was Preston Wesley ’26 in 4^th place (out of 165 runners) in a time of 16:25. Also scoring for varsity: Brock Grubert ’26 (5^th – 16:30), Owen Speed ’26 (12^th – 16:48), Duncan Shirley ’26 (24th – 17:22), and Paul Eckstein ’28 (30th – 17:32). Rounding out Varsity were Luke Long, Zach Lazor, Hayden Sorg, and Murphy Maynes.

The JV Squad finished 1st of 10 teams with 35 points. First for Moeller was Zach Guthrie, who finished first overall in a time of 18:29 (out of 104 runners). Scoring for JV was Max Herzog, Sam Sharpshair, Keegan Hantak, and Andrew Bedel.

The team will finish the regular season on Saturday, October 4^th, 2025 at the Ross Invitational at Ross High School in Hamilton, Ohio. Varsity race time is 9:30am.
