Mason Invitational Results....Week Three Update

In one of the most stacked and highly competitive meets Moeller will run all season, the Crusader Cross Country Team finished 23^rd out of 33 teams with 648 points at the Mason Invitational hosted at Corwin-Nixon Park in Mason, Ohio on Saturday, September 7, 2019.

For the Varsity race, Junior Cannon Spelman was Moeller’s top finisher in 109^th place in 18:00 (out of 411 runners). Also scoring: Sophomore Grant Prather (117^th – 18:05), Junior Will Mendel (161^st – 18:27), Junior Derek Konkoly (189^th – 18:40), and Sophomore Logan Mitchell (208^th – 18:52). Rounding out Varsity were Thomas Zaugg, Jon Stentz, Will Speigle, Zach Colbert, Ian Hale, Nick Momper, Sam Cline, Sabastian Rahe, Ethan Cepluch, and Eli Smiddy.

In the JV/Open race, that squad finished 20^th of 28 teams with 501 points. Crossing the line first for Moeller was Sophomore Alex Longwell in 101^st place (out of 702 runners) with a time of 19:39. Also scoring were Sam McCullough, Ryan Mendoza, Dominic Pappalardo, and Kyle Hegemann.

The team returns to racing on Saturday, September, 14th, 2019, for the Milford Invitational at the Valley View Nature Preserve in Milford, Ohio. The Varsity race is scheduled to begin at 10:30am. We hope to see your support there!
