Midwest Catholic Results....Week Five Update
Moeller’s Cross Country Team was back on the course Saturday, September 21st, 2019, for the Midwest Regional Catholic Championships at Indian Riffle Park in Kettering, Ohio.   The Crusaders managed a 16th place of 25 teams in combined divisional scoring with 428 points.
 
For Moeller, Cannon Spelman ’21 was the top finisher in 54th place with a time of 18:00 (out of 238 runners). Also scoring: Grant Prather ’22 (78th – 18:15), Logan Mitchell ’22 (88th - 18:23), Thomas Zaugg ’20 (112th – 18:42), Will Mendel ’21 (119th – 18:49). Rounding out Varsity were Ian Hale ’20, Jon Stentz ’20, Derek Konkoly ’21, Zach Colbert ’22, and Sebastian Rahe ’23.
 
Top finishers Cannon Spelman and Grant Prather.
 
 
In the JV/Open race, that squad finished 5th of 16 teams with 145 points. Scoring first for Moeller in that race was Will Speigle ’20 in 28th place with a time of 19:18 (out of 274 runners). Also scoring in that race were Sam Cline ’22, Nick Momper ’20, Ethan Cepluch ’20, and Alex Longwell ’22.

The Crusaders head up to Springfield, Ohio on September 28th, 2019 to compete in the Jim Murray Memorial Invitational at Champions Park Cross Country Course (aka Clark County Fairgrounds). All boys are scheduled to race at 9:10am.
