Mason Invitational Results….Week Three Update

In a stacked and highly competitive meet, the Crusader Cross Country Team finished 15th of 29 teams with 453 points at the Mason Invitational hosted at Corwin-Nixon Park in Mason, Ohio on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

For the Varsity race, Senior Jameson Maynes was Moeller’s top finisher in 33^rd place in 16:58 (out of 272 runners). Also scoring: Junior Sebastian Rahe (114^th – 17:56), Freshman Peter Bachman (120^th – 18:03), Sophomore Max Maney (124^th – 18:06), and Sophomore Jake Karulf (148^th – 18:23). Rounding out Varsity were Eli Smiddy, Sam Cline, Colin Swallender, Jacob Herzog, and Carson Todd.

In the 9^th/10^th grade JV race, that squad finished 10th of 23 teams with 319 points. Crossing the line first for Moeller was Freshman Finn Tayler in 67^th place (out of 315 runners) with a time of 20:09. Also scoring were Owen Brennan, Kyle Hughes, Jacob Scott, and Jared Busam.

In the 11^th/12^th grade JV, that squad finished 5th of 18 teams with 188 points. Crossing the line first for Moeller was Senior Zach Colbert in 18th place (out of 231 runners) with a time of 18:54. Also scoring were Grant Prather, Nick Monaco, Michael Roncallo, and Alex Weisgerber.

The team returns to racing on Saturday, September, 18th, 2021, for the Milford Invitational at the Valley View Nature Preserve in Milford, Ohio. The Varsity race is scheduled to begin at 9:00am.
