Midwest Catholic Results...Week Five Update

Moeller’s Cross Country Team was back on the course Saturday, September 25^th, 2021, for the Midwest Regional Catholic Championships at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course on the campus of Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. The Crusaders finished in 7^th place of 19 teams in combined divisional scoring with 188 points.

For Moeller, Jameson Maynes ’22 was the top finisher in 3^rd place with a time of 16:28 (out of 169 runners). He finished first in the Gold Division. Also scoring: Peter Bachman ’25 (38^th – 17:44), Sebastian Rahe ’23 (44^th – 17:49), Jacob Herzog ’24 (54^th – 17:58), and Grant Prather ’22 (57^th – 18:01). Rounding out Varsity were Max Maney ’24, Eli Smiddy ’22, Colin Swallender ’24, Zach Colbert ’22, and Jake Karulf ’24.

In the JV race, that squad finished 4^th of 10 teams with 107 points. Scoring first for Moeller in that race was Sam Cline ’22 in 9^th place with a time of 18:38 (out of 233 runners). Also scoring in that race were Nick Monaco ’23, Carson Todd ’25, Finn Taylor ’25, and Michael Roncallo ’23.

The Crusaders head up to Springfield, Ohio on October 2^rd, 2021 to compete in the Jim Murray Memorial Invitational at Champions Park Cross Country Course (aka Clark County Fairgrounds). Race time is scheduled for 9:40am.
