Lebanon Invitational Results....Week Two Update

The Crusader Cross Country Team returned to the course this weekend to compete in the Lebanon Warrior Invitational on Saturday, September 2^nd, 2023, at Lebanon High School, where the Varsity squad finished 2^nd of 30 teams with 107 points. 

 

Moeller’s top finisher was Jacob Herzog ’24 in 10^th place (out of 242 runners) in a time of 16:44.  Also scoring for Varsity were Max Maney ’24 (12^th – 16:53),  Brock Grubert ’26 (20^th – 17:08), Preston Wesley ’26 (24^th – 17:16), and Owen Speed ’26 (41^st – 17:47).   Rounding out Varsity were James Flege ’24, Finn Taylor ’25, Jake Karulf ’24, Colin Evans ’24, and Zach Lazor ’26. 

 

In the JV/Open race, Moeller finished 4^th of 19 teams with 118 points.   Top finisher in that race was Colin Swallender ‘24 in 21^st place (out of 327 runners) with a time of 19:17.   Also scoring JV were Steve Schuetter ’26, Leo Tierney ’26, Owen Brennan ’24, and Jake Allen ’26.

Up next is the Mason Invitational on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Mason’s Corwin-Nixon Park.  Varsity race is scheduled to begin at 11:00am.
